Our History

College Scholarships

The Oberman Foundation was able to award hundreds of scholarships to students from Africa, India and the Philippines, the majority of which hail in the towns of Casiguran, Sorsogon and Nabua, Camarines Sur. They have since graduated in their different fields of endeavor such as priesthood, civil, mechanical. electrical engineers, nurses, teachers, law enforcement officers, computer programmers, nurses, pharmacists, accountants, and many more. They are now great contributors to society.

Christmas Projects

The Oberman Foundation teamed up with Missionaries of the Poor, Naga City, Philippines this December 2019 to provide 1000 food gift bags to 1000 different underprivileged families around Naga City.

500 bags were distributed Christmas Eve …and 500 more were distributed December 27th.

The Oberman Foundation also sponsored t-shirts for the attendees of a party for the youth; alumnae of the elementary school by Missionaries of the Poor, Naga City. Some of the clothing donations the Oberman Foundation received were also gifted to the attendees.

The Foundation also provided goods for residents at the local mental hospital and prison. Both entities are run by the Philippine government, so living conditions are negligible.Members of the foundation also helped the Brothers and staff at Missionaries of the Poor with feeding the children section residents at their “Apostolate.”

Water Projects in Africa

The Oberman Foundation has donated water wells and overhead tanks in Nigeria and Zambia, Africa. These communities are now enjoying clean and secure water sources at their fingertips.
